About Oleksandr Balbyshev
Since my childhood I have been a dreamer. When I was studying architecture I got familiar with the world of the Art. And I fell in love with Art. I can’t live without creating of my paintings. Art excites me, it challenges me, and it leads me to the next thing. I feel happy when a new authentic world appears gradually on the canvas. I am Creator of the imaginary world, where no one can invade and ruin the harmony. The major theme of my art is a male aesthetic in the era of social media. My other obsession is modification of Soviet-era portraits of Lenin. I like to experiment with visual images, to mix them with each other and to watch the result. And I hope that someone who looks at my work feels the implication to something unbelievable that cannot be banned.
